Graham, the cousin of Michael Branch, arrived at Springfield Park on loan from Tranmere Rovers on 24th December 1997. He made his Latics League debut on Boxing Day 1997 against Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground and the game resulted in a 2-2 draw. He stayed at the club for a month during which he made 2+1 League appearances without scoring.
He returned to Tranmere Rovers on 24th January 1998 and was signed by Stockport County on a free transfer six months later. He finished his football career at Colwyn Bay in March 2010 due to a severe eye injury.
