SHREWSBURY TOWN vs WIGAN ATHLETIC

CRAINEY STRIKE ENDS FLOODLIT SEASON WITH POINTS SHARED.

The final game of the Floodlit league season ended with the points shared at Gay Meadow. The Latics skipper Alan Turner was returning to his old club and performed well against his former side.

Ben Crainey scored for the Latics and cancelled out the Shrewsbury goal which was netted by Tony Purslow.
